Bond denied for man shot by deputy

A Richland County magistrate judge has denied bond for the man shot in the leg last week by a Richland County Sheriffs deputy.
Antonio Davis Jr., 20, remains in custody at the Alvin S. Glenn Detention Center. He has been charged with attempted murder, resisting arrest with a deadly weapon, drug possession and three other gun-related crimes.
Davis is assused of pulling a gun on a sheriffs deputy Thursday night after he allegedly ran from a traffic stop. The deputy was not injured in the incident but Davis was shot in the leg.
No charges have been filed against the deputy, who has returned to duty at the sheriffs department.
