We've added 207 records of health inspections for restaurants, bars, cafeterias and other eateries in Kershaw, Lexington and Richland counties.
The inspections were carried out between Feb. 11 and March 4 by Department of Health and Environmental Control inspectors.
Twenty-one area establishments in that period earned exceptional scores between 98 and 100 on unannounced, routine inspections.
Twelve received B-level scores between 78 and 86 on their routine inspections and nine earned Cs with scores between 58 and 76. All those establishments had or will have the opportunity to improve marks with follow-up inspections.
The eatery with the lowest routine inspection score was Miyo's on Forest, which received the 58 after a Feb. 15 inspection. The restaurant had two follow-up inspections, on Feb. 18 and Feb. 25, for which it received scores of 93 and 100, respectively.
