A photographic exhibition of those who were killed during the terror period of 1989 was inaugurated in Tissamaharama.
More than 60,000 people were killed throughout the country due to the terror unleashed by the JVP and the UNP. An exhibition displaying the pictures of the murdered people who belonged to various social strata was opened at the Tissamaharama bus stand premises. The exhibition was inaugurated by Parliamentarian Namal Rajapaksa. Minister Bandula Gunawardena and a number of family members of the victims were present.
