The UPFA is concerned with children’s future says Namal

The UPFA is developing the villages while the UNP is engaged in a power struggle.


Parliamentarian Namal Rajapaksa said that it is a certainty that people will give their preference to the programme to develop the villages. The Parliamentarian said that this the election will decide on the development programme of the villages. He said that the Alliance is concerned with the future of the people while the opposition leaders are concerned with their survival. He noted that while one group of the UNP comes and request for the people’s vote to retain the current leader another group comes and asks the people to vote to appoint a new leader. He reminded the parents that the children’s future is what’s important to the UPFA.He expressed these views while addressing the final UPFA rally of the Local Government Election in Rambukkana. A large number of people were present at the meeting which was held near the Rambukkana Railway Station. Chief Minister of the Sabaragamuwa Province Mahipala Herath, and Parliamentarian Kanake Herath organized the meeting. Ministers A.H.M. Fowzie and Mervyn Silva also addressed the gathering.
