The United Nations has said that there is a decline in the number of emigrants to the developed countries.
In the recent past there was an influx of emigrants from Asian and African regions to developed countries. A recent survey on emigration has reveled that there is a sharp decline in the number of people who attempt to emigrate to developed countries. The number of applicants for emigration and employment in industrialized countries in 2010 has dropped by five percent in comparison with 2009. The United Nations has further said that economic achievements of several countries in the Asian region and the collapse of the industrialized countries in the face of the world economic crisis would have led to the current situation.
