A Seneca man has been cleared in the 2004 shooting death of a cab driver.
A jury in Walhalla deliberated a little more than an hour before acquitting 24-year-old Andrew Lash on all charges.
Lash had been arrested in 2009 and charged with murder, attempted armed robbery and a weapons violation in the Feb. 10, 2004, death Seneca cab driver George Arthur Roberts.
Defense attorney Wilson Burr says he was surprised by the quick verdicts.
Prosecutors say Roberts had picked up a man at a gas station in Seneca and was found dead minutes later in his cab, which had gone down an embankment.
