The drugs used for respiratory problems will be manufactured in Sri Lanka, turning a new leaf in the treatment of ailments in the respiratory system.
The factory was inaugurated by Minister Maithripala Sirisena on Borupana Road in Moratuwa. The inhaler introduced by Dr. Anil Gunatilake who won Presidential Awards and many other drugs will be manufactured in the factory. 200 million rupees has been invested for the company. It is for the first time that such a factory has been setup in Sri Lanka. Speaking at the occasion Minister Maithripala Sirisena said that the Government will provide maximum assistance to encourage investments made by the private sector.
