SC Honor Flight celebrates WWII veterans with show

A South Carolina group that honors World War II veterans by flying them to national memorials in Washington, D.C., is celebrating with a tribute concert.
Honor Flight organizer Bill Dukes says complimentary tickets are available to World War II veterans and a guest at the event Sunday afternoon in Columbia. Tickets are available to the general public through Ticketmaster and at the Township Auditorium box office.
The Glenn Miller Orchestra and the Victory Belle singers are set to entertain. Bill Johnson, who is a Bob Hope impersonator, is also appearing.
The Honor Flight group has flown more than 1,000 veterans to see the memorials in their honor. The next flight is set for April 27.
