U.S. Sen. Lindsey Graham says he wants to bring the U.S. Africa Command to the Charleston area, something that was considered three years ago.
The Post and Courier of Charleston reports Friday that the military is reviewing moving the command from Germany.
Gen. Carter Ham heads up the U.S. Africa Command. He told Graham during a meeting of the Senate Armed Services Committee Thursday he is reviewing possible new homes for the command but said there is no timetable for a decision.
