Compiling the report of the Presidential Commission on reconciliation has entered its final phase.
The President appointed the Commission to study the lessons learnt in the war and to make recommendations to restructure the future of the nation. The Commission has finished recording evidence at the district level. Media spokesman of the Commission Lakshman Wickramasinghe said that 370 documents of written evidence have also been received. The final report of the Commission will be handed over to the President next month.
