Mohamed Ziyam and Sanjith Madugalle

Sanjith  Madugalle, the  driving  force  of  the  subsidiary  Sigma  Sankel  (Pvt)  Ltd., was  recently appointed  to  the Harcourts Director Board.
Madugalle joined Harcourts in 995 as a medical representative and rose to become a divisional manager in the Pharmaceutical Division.
The management recognising his talent in the Cosmeceuticals & Neutraceuticals area, appointed him as Operational Head of this newly formed Division to spearhead Harcourts’ pioneering thrust into this fast growing market.  Madugalle and his team’s innovative groundbreaking marketing approach has made this Segment a Substantial revenue yielding Harcourts subsidiary.
In a short span of five years many of the brands in their portfolio like Biona, Naturee , Sure  Slim  Eve 1000,  etc., have  not  only  become  Brand  leaders in their respective segments, but is also the preferred   choice  of  a  lineage  of  customers.
Mohamed  Ziyam  joined  Harcourts in 2005  after  having worked  with  reputed  FMCG  companies  in  Sri  Lanka  and  abroad.  Ziyam, who took over the FMCG Division-Harcourts Consumer Solutions  (Pvt) Ltd.  which was tottering  at  that   time  has  turned  around  his division as  one  of  the most  profitable  ones. The division which has Emami group of products as its main range has built up two blockbusters in Navaratna Oil and Fair & Handsome. He was responsible for making the trendsetter in men’s Grooming-Fair  & Handsome as a great marketing success in Sri Lanka.
