Two warships from Japan have reached the Colombo Harbour.
The warships “Krisamai” and “Yudavi” of the Japanese Marine Force reached the Colombo Harbour this morning on a goodwill visit. These were welcomed according to traditions of the Sri Lanka Navy. The two vessels of the destroyer type of 151 meters long and 17.4 meters wide. Each vessel has 180 crew members. The aim of this goodwill visit is to improve naval ties between the two countries and organize joint programmes. The vessels are scheduled to leave the island tomorrow.
