Western Cold War against Sri Lanka begins with Ban Ki-moon’s report

Apr 23, 2011 11:43:53 AM - itnnews.lk

Sri Lanka’s Ambassador to France Dr. Dayan Jayatilake has said that the Cold War waged by the Western countries against the island has begun. He said that everyone should get together in forming a massive international force, soliciting the support of friendly nations. Dr. Jayatilake who is also a veteran political critic expressed this view during a special interview with our representative Sudharman Radaliyagoda at the Sri Lankan Embassy in Frence.

Dr. Jayatilake clarified that the UN Chief’s dossier was clear attack related to this Cold War. The report will not come to an end from this stage. An attempt will be made to build a massive world opinion against Sri Lanka using the Western media. Attempts will also be made to steer governments in the world and exert pressure on Sri Lanka, with the help of the Western media. The final target of the effort is very serious, whoever was behind the move or what a collection of forces there was.

The Sri Lanka Ambassador pointed out that the aim was to create an environment to reverse the historic victory achieved by the dedication of the Armed forces and the people. As such, he said a strong and broad united front should be created with the support of friendly nations to eliminate the consequences. This is a deadly menace and should be trounced. The Sri Lankan diplomat in France warned that this cold war would escalate in the next few years.
