The network that brings us Basketball Wives, Love & Hip Hop, Mob Wives and Celebrity Rehab is really getting ready to drag viewers through the mud.
As reported on wistv.com, VH1 is having a casting call in Columbia for The South Rocks, a show that is looking for camera-ready folks who like mudding, jacked-up trucks and camouflage.
The casting call will be from 4 p.m. to 2 a.m. Sunday at Wild Hare, a Vista bar. Those who want to audition should be between 18 and 29. It was not clear from the web posting whether or not the casting agents prefer guys who wear boat shoes or boots, but thats enough stereotyping. Do you think well see enough during the show?
An attempt to reach Pink Sneakers Production, which develops programs for VH1 and its sister company MTV, was unsuccessful. Both networks are part of MTV Networks, a division of Viacom.
Southerners, and Columbia natives, have fared OK in the format of throwing strangers together and letting them party. Columbia native Kimberly Alexander bared all on MTVs Real World: Hollywood.
