A Korean Buddhist delegation visiting the island has said that the development taking place and the peaceful environment prevailing in Sri Lanka is an example to the entire world.
The delegation headed by the Ven. Siyok Kasan Thera made this comment during a courtesy call on President Rajapaksa. They met the President at Temple Trees. The Ven. Siyok Kasan Thera handed over many Buddhist books to the President. He pointed out that he would be taking action to apprise the Koreans of the mega development taking place in Sri Lanka and also the peaceful climate that is witnessed. Ministers Athauda Seneviratne and Mahinda Amaraweera were among those present on this occasion.
