Movie stars and athletes will participate in a charity basketball game Saturday afternoon at Lower Richland High School.
Tipoff for the game between The Harlem Legends vs. The Celebrity All-Stars is at 2 p.m. Participants include Darrin Henson, an actor and choreographer; Isaiah Mustafa, also know as the Old Spice Man; Lamman Rucker from Tyler Perrys Why Did I Get Married; and Rockmond Dunbar from the TV show Terriers. The Harlem Legends team includes former players from the Harlem Globetrotters, NBA and Continental Basketball Association.
Tickets cost $20 at the door. Proceeds benefit the MA Lee Scholarship Fund, which was established in 2006 to provide academic scholarships to first-year college students with difficult financial circumstances. The fund is named after Maurice A. Lee, an Orangeburg pharmacist.
