A Japanese delegation visiting the island has called on President Rajapaksa.
The delegation headed by the Japanese Foreign Minister Makiko Kikuta paid the courtesy call on the President last afternoon. Their discussions focused on the long standing friendly relations between the two countries and the inter-cooperation agreement. Japan’s Ambassador in Sri Lanka Kunio Takahashi, Minister Prof. G.L. Peiris, President’s Secretary Lalith Weeratunge and Finance Secretary Dr. P.B. Jayasundera attended meeting.
