Five new diplomats hand in credentials

Three new Ambassadors and two High Commissioners have presented their credentials to President Rajapaksa.

 

 

The handing over of credentials took place at the Presidential Secretariat this morning. These new diplomats handed in their credentials with the hope of further solidifying relations with Sri Lanka

Cristian M. Barros handed in his credentials to the President as the Ambassador of the Republic of Chile to Sri Lanka.

Robert Tachie-Mension is the new High Commissioner of the Republic of Ghana to Sri Lanka.

The New Ambassador of the Federal Democrtic Republic of Ethiopia is Gennet Zewide

Francisco Javier Elorza Cavengt handed in his credentials to the President as the new Ambassador of the Kingdom of Spain.

The New High Commissioner of the Republic of Malta to Sri Lanka is Theresa Cutajar.

The new Ambassadors and the High Commissioners had a cordial discussion with the President after handing in their credentials. Minister Prof. G.L. Peiris and President Secretary Lalith Weeratunge were present.
