A woman injured when a wall collapsed at a high school football game is suing Union County.
The Union Daily Times reports Princess T. Johnson filed her lawsuit last week saying she suffered permanent physical and mental pain and lost her enjoyment of life after part of a retaining wall collapsed during a Union County High School football game in November 2009.
The nearly 50-year-old wall crumbled when students piled on it to be filmed by a television crew. Officials say 28 people were hurt, but none of the injuries was life threatening.
The wall was rebuilt with drains to allow rainwater to run off and a police officer has been stationed near it to keep students off.
Union County officials refused to talk about the lawsuit.
