ASHEVILLE, N.C. Evangelist Billy Graham was listed in fair condition Thursday at an Asheville hospital, where he is being treated for pneumonia.
No discharge date has been set.
A spokesman for Mission Hospital in Asheville says the 92-year-old was able to resume a normal routine Thursday, a day after being admitted for treatment. Graham got up for all his meals, and completed a physical therapy program. He was also visited by his pastor for Bible study and prayer.
Dr. Shaw Henderson, a pulmonologist, says Grahams temperature is normal and his congestion is clearing up. Earlier, he confirmed the pneumonia diagnosis.
Graham spokesman Larry Ross also said the evangelist wanted to pass along his gratitude for the outpouring of love, concern and prayers of so many individuals across the country.
