Three men are under arrest after a witness who saw a suspicious person enter a home early this morning called law enforcement.
The Richland County Sheriff's Department got a call around 12:15 a.m. about the activity at a Menlo Drive residence, the department said. Responding deputies were on hand when Michael Huffstetler, 18, of Chapin, emerged with weapons.
He was arrested after attempting to flee. Hufstetler is charged with first degree burglary, accused of stealing the weapons from the residence, the department said.
Also arrested were Aaron M. Carrion, 18, of Lexington, and Marlin M. Sujapa, 20, of Chapin. Both men were waiting in a vehicle at the scene.
