A new contest kicking off next month will give you the chance to win a dinner with the Lee Brothers who as the Lowcountry-based brother-chef duo have given a taste of Southern food to a national audience.
On Monday, Gov. Nikki Haley hosted a Certified South Carolina luncheon with Matt and Ted Lee, in a meal featuring locally SC Certified foods to publicize the contest.
The Lee Brother Your Supper six-week campaign will begin June 20. Enter a free drawing for the chance to win the grand prize a Certified SC meal prepared in person by the Lee Bros. at their personal supper club event. There will be weekly drawings during the promotion period where entrants have the chance to win T-shirts and copies of the Lee Bros. new cookbook, Simple Fresh Southern.
Mondays menu included spicy shellfish and okra stew; Manchester Farms quail served with Carolina Plantation dirty rice featuring Carolina Pride spicy sausage; chard vegetables from Clayton Rawl Farms and W.P. Rawl Farms and finished off with Titan Farm peach pie served with Coosaw Farm blueberry compote and Sandy Run lemon ice cream .
