The International Seminar which will provide Sri Lanka’s experiences on the routing of terrorism to the world will begin tomorrow. Army Media Spokesman Maj. Gen. Ubaya Medawala said Security Heads of 46 countries are scheduled to participate in this conference.
Maj. Gen. Medawala said the seminar is organized by the Sri Lanka Army on defeating terrorism. It will begin tomorrow at the Galadhari Hotel. Defence Secretary Gotabhaya Rajapaksa will deliver the keynote address. The Commander of the Army will make the welcome speech. 46 countries are due to be represented at the conference. There will also be High Commissioners and Ambassadors from different countries. Over 300 from the armed forces will also participate. The Army spokesman said there will be lectures and discussions for three days on different topics of interest related to terrorism and the concept adopted by the Sri Lanka Army
