Tobacco for sexual favors charge against store clerk

A Lexington convenience store cashier has been arrested after he allegedly sold tobacco to teen boys in exchange for sexual favors, the Lexington County Sheriff's Department reported.
Terrence Everett Bryant, 50, has been charged with three counts of committing a lewd act upon a child younger than 16, the sheriff's department reported. The sheriff's department began investigating Bryant after the father of a 12-year-old boy reported that his son had purchased cigarettes at the store. Investigators found that Bryant allegedly had provided cigarettes to the boy on five occasions in exchange for sexual favors.
The sheriff's department is asking for anyone with information on additional instances of inappropriate behavior from Bryant to call (803) 785-8230.
