A body found in Duluth, Ga., on Mothers Day has been identified by the Gwinnett County Medical Examiners Office as the brother of South Carolina football great George Rogers, according to the Gwinnett (Ga.) Daily Post.
Timothy Rogers, 53, was a landscaper and father of two who had battled drug and alcohol addictions, according to the paper. He disappeared in March.
A cause of death has yet to be determined, but no foul play is suspected, according to the Gwinnett Daily Post.
George Rogers, who was born in Duluth, was the 1980 Heisman Trophy winner while at USC. He is a member of the Pro Football and College Football Halls of Fame.
