Columbia Police investigators are turning to the public to find one of two men suspected in an a attempted murder.
Warrants were issued for Jarquis Bernard Davis, 19, on attempted murder and possession of a firearm during the commission of a violent crime charges.
Those charges were developed from a May 5 incident on the 4000 block of Grand Street when, around 2:30 a.m., a victim was shot multiple times. The victim remains in intensive care. Police believe Davis and the victim are acquainted and the shooting followed an argument.
A second suspect, Desmond Hakeem Mayo, 21, was arrested the day of the shooting but Davis remains at large. His last known address was on the 7000 block of Claudis Drive, Columbia.
