It was possible to bring the Sacred Relics to Sri Lanka from Pakistan following a request made by President Rajapaksa from his Pakistani counterpart Asif Ali Zardari. It was Minister Dinesh Gunawardena who unveiled the Casket containing the relics for exposition today.
