A high level delegation of the Indian Government is due in the island tomorrow.
The External Affairs Ministry said India’s National Security Advisor Shiv Shankar Menon, Foreign Secretary Nirupama Rao and Defence Secretary Pradeep Kumar will be included in the delegation. The delegation hopes to discuss matters important to Sri Lanka including the progress of the reconciliation process in the North.
The delegation also plans to have discussions with the President and several government representatives. The Indian delegation is due to be in the island for two days.
