More information has surfaced on the tiger loyalist reportage of Channel Four in the production of fake video footage against Sri Lanka.
Another programme produced mainly with the intention of denigrating the Sri Lankan Government and the Sri Lankan Forces in the face of international community had been telecast recently. The prime attempt was to project to the world the brutality unleashed on the innocent civilians by the Sri Lankan security forces. However this channel had taken action to cover up all information on how the Sri Lankan troops made an untiring effort to liberate the innocent civilians, expectant mothers, children and the elders who were used by the terrorists as human shields.
The main resource used by the Channel Four of Britain in its report was a woman named Vani Kumar. She is a person who had lived and studied in Britain. She had come to the Wanni via Castro who was the chief of the LTTE Foreign Affairs Division. After working with the LTTE for several months during the final stages of the humanitarian operation, she left for Britain. Doctors who served in the Wanni have confirmed that she had worked in collaboration with the LTTE. Channel Four had attempted to display as views of the civilians, the LTTE loyalists and anti-forces information secured from her. The portrait of Ramesh who had served as a tiger leader and which was shown on Channel Four had been identified by his wife who is living abroad. Ramesh is a dreadful terrorist leader who had given leadership to many brutal terrorist activities for a long period. Channel Four does not mention that he took the lead in attacking many military camps in the North as well as in the East.
This channel which also shows photographs and visuals of Isai Priya who was killed in the final operation period is engaged in an effort to indicate that she was raped and murdered. However the video footage has no evidence to confirm such activities. Priya was associated with the LTTE and had received training in the Wanni. She was absorbed to the armed force of the terrorist outfit but later joined the so called Voice of Tigers due to her health condition.
Sri Lanka had on several occasions consolidated to the world that the Voice of Tigers was the official radio of the tiger outfit. It is not a surprise that a person who had been active to achieve tiger objectives bearing the identity card of the LTTE being killed in the struggle of the terrorists. It is very clear that the Channel Four of Britain had been active on behalf of the needs of the LTTE Diaspora. This is views of critics. Their intention had been to pass on benefits to LTTE loyalists by vilifying insulting Sri Lanka and the Security Forces in the face of the international community.
