More houses for low income families

More houses are being provided for low income families in the Colombo City and its suburbs. Work on the Kolonnawa Flats kicked off this morning.The launch of construction took place under the patronage of Parliamentarians Namal Rajapaksa and Duminda Silva. The Complex will have 750 housing units. The work on the project is expected to be completed within one year. The Project is being handled by the Urban Development Authority under the guidance of Defence Secretary Gotabhaya Rajapaksa.Parliamentarian Namal Rajapaksa said some political parties have gone to the extent of even betraying humanity to achieve political gains. He pointed out that the President’s political vision is based on humanity and the provision of equal human rights to all as well as equal development. Parliamentarian Duminda Silva said the war has ended. Rapid development was taking place in the country. He emphasized that the UNP and the JVP in collaboration with alien forces were attempting to paralyze the development with the main purpose of dividing the country again.
