Police searching for alleged gang recruiter

A gang member who set the rules for other members and forced teens to break into cars to move up the ranks is wanted by the Richland County Sheriff's Department.
Timothy A. Kinlaw, 26, is wanted on three counts of use of threats of violence by a gang member to solicit membership or prevent withdrawal and three counts of contributing to the delinquency of a minor, the Richland County Sheriff's Department said.
Kinlaw allgededly harrassed victims about joining his gang and then told them they had no choice after they refused, the sheriff's department said. Kinlaw also is accused of threatening to shoot fellow gang members and their families if they did not follow his rules. He also allegedly coerced three juveniles into breaking into cars in order for them to gain rank, the sheriff's department said.
