The Channel 4 documentary against Sri Lanka is a digital creation. An International expert on digital technology has said that there is suspicion that funds were obtained from the LTTE to produce the documentary. Siri Hewavitharana who has studied digital technology in Britain has expressed these views. He has served in reputed institutions of video technology in Britain and has also received international awards. He said that the Channel four documentary is based on lies and maximum use of digital technology. He says that the statement made by the producers that the visuals were received by a camera phone is totally false as such visuals cannot be very clear. He said that the use of a high-tech camera to capture the visuals shows that the documentary is a fabrication. Pointing out that digital technology has been used in this connection he says that the flow of blood from the head of a child in a frame indicates that computer technology has been used. The producer has erroneously translated Tamil language phrases at certain places. This shows that the documentary has been produced on the requirement of the terrorists. Siri Hewawitharana says that there are such frames throughout the video. He expressed regret about making such a video by another high-tech expert.
