Training for graduates to streamline the public service

President Rajapaksa has underscored the need for the granting of streamlined training for graduates who are to be recruited to the Public Service and those who are already in service.

The President was addressing a special gathering of the Sri Lanka Freedom Party Graduates Association at Temple Trees today. A report containing proposals of the Association to be considered for inclusion in the minutes of the Graduates Service to be formulated in future, was handed over to the President. The Association thanked the President for the decision taken by the Government to recruit another 15 thousand graduates to the Public Service. Minister Ranjith Siyambalapitiya and President’s Secretary Lalith Weeratunga were present at this gathering.
