Interest in her story keeps growing, but this kind of size increase Bree Boyce doesnt mind.
Boyce, the newly crowned Miss South Carolina who has lost 110 pounds, will appear on "The Today Show" and "Good Morning America" this morning. How can she be on two programs on the same day? Well, they are both taped in New York. Both start broadcasting at 7 a.m., but while "GMA" ends at 9 a.m., "Today" goes to 11 a.m.
Since the 22-year-old Boyce won her crown July 2, she has been interviewed by "Inside Edition" and featured on "E!," The Huffington Post and other websites. Because of all the attention, her pageant platform of Eating Healthy and Fighting Obesity will reach a wider audience.
But will the exposure temper her chances at the Miss America pageant in January?
"Today" airs on NBC, Time Warner Cable channel 3, and "GMA" is on ABC, TWC channel 5.
