Minister Keheliya Rambukwella has emphasized that the country’s forward march meeting the targets of peace and development will not be curtailed in face of international conspiracies.
The Minister pointed out that some cannot tolerate the Sri Lankan forces treating the people in a disciplined manner when major powers were unleashing killings in Iraq, in Libya and in Afghanistan. The country was advancing on a strong path after ending the war. However massive forces were hindering the country when the President was accepting these challenges, the Minister said they too have the strength to follow suit. However he said they needed the blessings of the villagers.
The Minister was addressing a public rally of the Freedom Alliance at Alawathugoda. It was organized by Alliance candidates who are contesting the Alawathugoda Pradeshiya Sabha. Deputy Minister Faizer Mustapha was among those present.
