A number of development projects will be launched in the Anuradhapura District concurrent to the Deyata Kirula exhibition.
The Anuradhapura Teaching hospital will be developed simultaneous to the Deyata Kirula exhibition that will be held in Anuradhapura next year. The construction work of the 4 storied building for the treatment of Bhikkus was launched under the patronage of Minister Maitripala Sirisena. The first phase of the construction carried out under the Mahinda Chintana policy will cost 60 million rupees. A special feature was the launch of the work on the 51st anniversary of the Anuradhapura Teaching hospital. Members of the Maha Sangha, Deputy Minister Duminda Dissanayake, Chief Minister of the North Central Province Berty Premalal Dissanayake were amongst those who participated in the occasion.
