Folks who go to lunch in the Vista might face more traffic congestion tomorrow as water line repairs continue on the 900 block of Gervais Street.
One of the two out-of-town-bound lanes are likely to be blocked for about three hours in front of Longhorn restaurant, said Owen Livingston, the city’s project manager on the repairs.
The work will be done sometime between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m, which means it might occur during the lunch rush for restaurants in the Vista, Livingston said.
None of the work will occur during commuter rush hours in the morning or after work, he said.
There are no plans to detour traffic off the 900 block as occurred last week, when the city discovered a leak from repairs done earlier this year by a private contractor, Livingston said.
