Batestburg-Leesville man dies following wreck

A driver has died from injuries he suffered in a July 16 wreck in Saluda County.
The 30-year-old Batesburg-Leesville man was thrown from a car he was driving around 6:07 p.m. on Riverbend Point in Saluda County, said S.C. Highway Patrol Lance Cpl. Scot Edgeworth.
The man, whose identity was not immediately available, was driving east on Riverbend Point when the two-door Ford car went off the right side of the road, overcorrected to the left and overturned. The driver was not wearing a seat belt and was thrown from the car.
He died Tuesday around 1 p.m., Edgeworth said. – Kelly Davis
