Education Minister Bandula Gunawardena said that between August 8th of next month and the 3rd of September students can travel for free of charge in private buses after producing their examination admission cards. He said that a similar program was implemented in the western province last year and this year it will be implemented throughout the country. The Minister pointed out that the decision to grant free travel in private buses to students sitting the examination was reached during talks held with private bus operators.
