A man police already have slapped with multiple charges, including attempted murder, in connection with robberies and assaults of Columbia cab drivers now is the suspect in a third incident.
Janoblin Maurice Bracy-Brown has been charged with attempted murder, armed robbery and possession of a weapon during the commission of a violent crime in connection with a June 26 incident at 3622 High Circle.
Bracy-Brown previously was charged with attempted murder, two counts of armed robbery and two counts of possession of a weapon during the commission fo a violent crime related to June 24 and July 2 incidents.
The first attempted murder charge stems from a July 2 robbery. Police suspect Bracy-Brown of calling a Blue Ribbon cab driver to Bay Shell Drive, then firing a shotgun at him after robbing him on Hammond Avenue. In the July 24 incident, another Blue Ribbon cab driver was called to High Circle and struck with a pistol after being robbed.
In both of those incidents, an as-yet-unidentified second man was involved.
