After being in the room for 3 hours and 45 minutes, SLED crime scene investigators brought out a box of brown paper bags filled with evidence collected from inside the room around 2 p.m.
Earlier on Monday, law enforcement officials put up crime scene tape and were executing a search warrant at a Georgetown County motel room in hopes of learning information about a person who may have stayed there at or around the time that New York teen Brittanee Drexel disappeared while on spring break in Myrtle Beach two years ago.
Officials from State Law Enforcement Division, the Georgetown County Sheriff's Office, the Myrtle Beach Police Department and others were at the Sunset Lodge Hotel in Georgetown County.
Capt David Knipes of the Myrtle Beach Police Department said no arrests are expected and that no further information about the person who is believed to have stayed in the room will be released.
Police put crime tape up at the motel, located on U.S. 17 near the Georgetown County Airport. They are searching room No. 22.
