Another summer day, another heat advisory is in effect for much of South Carolina.
The National Weather Service on Friday issued the heat advisory 34 counties south and east of a line from Lancaster to Newberry to McCormick. Forecasters say highs in the mid to upper 90s combined with high humidity will make it feel like 105 to 110 degrees.
There is a chance of afternoon thunderstorms, especially in the Midlands and northern coast.
The hot weather isn't going away any time soon. Forecasters predict highs in the 90s across the state for the next seven days.
