Richland County Sheriffs investigators are on the lookout for a man caught on surveillance video breaking into several businesses on Decker Boulevard and Two Notch Road last month.
The same person is suspected in at least eight burglaries between June 30 and July 30, the department said. In some cases, the acts were captured on cameras, including an incident in which the suspect used his own body to smash the lower half of a glass door to gain entry.
The break-ins known to investigators include:
• Pet and Prim Parlor, 1808 Decker Blvd., between 9 p.m. June 30 and 8 a.m. July 1, where someone stole cash, dog groom supplies and a DVD player;
• Sante Fe Mexican Grill, 1735 Decker Blvd., between 9:30 p.m. July 20 and 8:30 a.m. July 21, where someone smashed out a glass door and stole a box of candy and damaged property inside the business;
