Northeast Richland ATM robberies accomplice arrested

A woman accused of driving a getaway car in a string of Richland County ATM robberies has been arrested.
Dedrea Lashawn Rodriguez was arrested Friday in a Charleston apartment unit by Charleston Police officers, the Richland County Sheriff’s Department said.
Rodriguez is accused of driving the getaway vehicle in a string of armed automated teller machine robberies in Richland County between 3 a.m. and 8 p.m. July 15 at Bank of America ATMs on Twon Notch, Clemson and Farrow roads. Another suspect in the robberies, Kelley Tyler, 22, was arrested July 26.
Rodriguez, 21 is charged with three counts of armed robbery with a deadly weapon and three counts of kidnapping. She is being held at the Alvin S. Glenn Detention Center on a $300,000 surety bond. – Kelly Davis
