Today is the second day of the Vidulka 2011 National Energy Conservation Exhibition.
The exhibition got underway at the BMICH yesterday. It has been organized by the Sri Lanka Sunithya Energy Authority. The aim of the exhibition is to raise awareness in the people about the situation of the world and energy in the absence of fuel. It also informs about supplying electricity to remote villages where power cannot be supplied from the main network. Special programmes were organized for school children today. Seminars on energy conservation, workshops and art competitions were held to create awareness in school children. The Vidulka National Energy Conservation exhibition will be concluded on Sunday.
