Infor, a leading provider of business application software serving more than 70,000 customers, yesterday announced details of its annual customer event in Sri Lanka dedicated to users of Infor10 ERP Process iBusiness (System21).
The event will be jointly hosted with IBM and Infor channel partner Bluechip and will be held on 18 August at the Colombo Hilton Residencies.

ERP Process iBusiness operates exclusively on the IBM System i platform enabling companies to optimise every aspect of their complex mixed-mode or distribution business to maximise efficiency. IBM i is an integrated operating environment with a more than 20-year reputation in helping companies focus on innovation and delivering new value to their business, not just on managing their data centre operations. IBM i, running on an IBM Power Systems™ server, offers a highly scalable and secure architecture with a proven reputation for exceptional business resiliency.
ERP Process iBusiness is a global solution designed to help apparel, food/beverage, automotive, electronics, industrial equipment, and general manufacturing and distribution companies improve profitability and reduce margin pressures; manage highly customised products; address the challenges of manufacturing and sourcing in low-cost countries; manage a complex supply chain to increase efficiency and reduce risk and ultimately achieve a low total cost of ownership.
ERP Process iBusiness delivers the manufacturing, financial management, procurement, customer service, logistics and after-sales service management capabilities companies need to automate key manufacturing processes; develop and implement accurate production plans; respond with speed to changing requirements; compete globally; manage by exception and reduce administrative costs.
“We take great pride in serving our customers with the latest business software solutions to overcome the inherent complexity of manufacturing operations, which often span multiple sites,” said Souma Das, Managing Director, Infor India. “Customers can look forward to hearing about our approach to enterprise software. We believe ‘speed’ is the future of technology and we’re going to help our customers operate faster by changing the way they do their work, make their capital run faster, help them get products to market faster, help them identify trends faster, and help IT operate faster in response to business strategy. Companies can learn all about how we can do this at our event.”
