BMS, a UK education specialist entering its 12th year of success providing British Degree programmes in Sri Lanka, offers to Sri Lankan students two degree programmes, namely, Bachelor’s Degree in Business and Management and Bachelor’s Degree in Leadership and Management from the prestigious Northumbria University, UK.  The degree programmes have two unique features.
One is that the final year induction in Sri Lanka and the completion the project reports are being done under the supervision of Northumbria University lecturers.

The other is the facility for direct admission to the final year through recognised professional qualifications. Accordingly, it is an innovative undergraduate degree programme delivered over one year building upon students’ prior learning base so that it provides an excellent learning platform for aspiring or existing leaders and managers.
In the final year, UK university lecturers will conduct induction to introduce students to the learning resources, tutors, modules and assessments. Students will then complete three modules and one professional project supported individually by tutors from Northumbria University and experts hired locally. The professional project of 12, 000 words will allow students to complete a work based report investigating a problem area within an organisation which they are familiar with. They will be supported to identify the problem through a specially arranged research methodology workshop.
Dr. Guy Brown, Programme Director visits regularly to meet students to support in their professional project and conduct induction. Paul Leonard, Module Leader provides induction lectures on the module.
The special feature of the course is that each student is issued with a university identity card and they have direct access to the university digital library and university module lecturers.
