Infant killed in I-20 crash

The Highway Patrol is investigating a two-car collision on Interstate 20 Wednesday afternoon that left an infant dead and one woman hospitalized in serious condition.
According to Trooper Judd Jones, both cars were eastbound at 4:50 p.m. when a 1999 Cadillac carrying three females and the infant ran into a 2000 Cadillac driven by James Dunbar, 42, of Columbia. Both cars ran off the road and overturned. The infant was ejected from the car and killed, Jones said.
Dunbar was not injured. Two females in the first car were not injured. A third was taken to Palmetto Health Richland hospital where she was listed in serious condition, Jones said.
The accident occured near mile marker 74. Rachael Myers Lowe
