Mulafer has also been selected for several training programmes conducted by the company such as Leo Burnett Digital Boot Camp, Singapore; Coke Side of Life, Delhi; MS&L PR immersion, Chennai; Oman Air Communications Summit, Muscat; and Leo Burnett MMP, Bangkok.
He also was a member of the agency team which attended the Spikes Asia held in Indonesia in 2008 and AdFest held in Pattaya in 2011.
Commenting on Mulafer’s posting, Leo Burnett Solutions Inc.’s Managing Director, Ranil de Silva said, “I am very proud of Firzan as he has been hand-picked for this very important position, with regional responsibilities. I know that this exposure will empower him with invaluable experiences to better fulfill his role in Engagement Planning. Upon his return he will prove himself to be an invaluable asset to Leo Burnett in Sri Lanka. I am hopeful that many more Burnetters from Sri Lanka will have similar opportunities in the future. I do extend my heartiest congratulations to him on his selection for this very critical appointment within the Southeast Asian region.”
