The Foreign Employment Bureau says the Korean language proficiency test that was to be held on 8 and 9 October has been postponed due to the upcoming local government elections.
The Employment Permit System-Test of Proficiency in Korean (EPS-TOPIK) is now rescheduled to be held on 15 and 16 October in Colombo.

According to the Bureau 50,730 applicants for employment in Korea will be taking the test.
All applicants should pass the language test conducted by the Korean Labour Ministry and the SLBFE which needs Korean language training for prospective jobseekers prior to the test.
